Hang your suncatcher with a high quality suction cup. If possible, I recommend that you hang your piece securely from a sturdy hook that has been screwed into a secure material, like a wooden window frame or wall stud.

When cleaning your stained glass piece(s), do not use Windex or other chemicals. It will breakdown the construction of the glass. Use a microfiber cloth to dust. If you need to use some type of cleaner, I recommend warm water mixed with a little (blue) Dawn. Do not leave your piece soaking in water!

Over time, you may notice the solder forming a white substance or tarnish. This is completely normal as the solder oxidizes. Simply use a soft-bristled toothbrush to clean the substance off. 

I recommend that you "re-seal" your stained glass ONCE a year. I use Pledge (original in a spray can) or carnauba wax. Spray the wax on a micro-fiber cloth, polish the metal and glass surfaces, followed by buffing with a soft dry cloth. Re-sealing your stained glass once a year will cut down on oxidization. 

Stained glass pieces are constructed with solder that contains lead. Some pieces are wrapped in lead came (this is for pieces that need reinforcement for stability). Lead is a health issue when inhaled or ingested, so please don't eat your stained glass! ;)

Even though each piece is cleaned and sealed, I recommend that you wash your hands with soap and warm water after handling your stained glass! Washing your hands after handling your piece is considered sufficient precaution to prevent unwanted exposure!
